About Us
I am attending grad school at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in Museum Studies. I love reading anything suspenseful or scandalous. I love laughing, discussing liberal theory, and envisioning myself as Queen of the World. If I could eat ice cream for every meal of the day, I would.
Scott earned his MBA from East Carolina University, and is currently working for the American Astronomical Society. He likes to read, watch, or listen to anything about technology, and anything that offends the conservative masses. Scott likes to play tennis and hike, especially when it is 100 degrees outside.
We met through AmericanSingles.com, where he found my online profile. We ended up talking online, and went to a movie together on campus where we immediately hit it off. He even *made* me hold his hand!
The Proposal
February 18 and/or 19, 2005
Scott took me to see a movie on campus, a cartoon about fish, which was very much like our first date coincidently enough. We then walked through the grassy mall on ECU's campus, which also echoed our first meeting. He proposed to me under the cupola at midnight. It was freezing. And since it was near midnight, it might have been February 19th instead. We then pigged out on mexican food.
The Wedding
October 22, 2006
Kent Manor Inn, Stevensville, MD
The wedding is going to be held at Kent Manor, right off the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Hopefully the weather will participate and we will have a beautiful fall ceremony. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony, held in the Kent Manor Garden House.
